Spring Camp FAQ

Please reach us at supportsquad@wildkindcollective.com if you can’t find an answer to your question.

  • Cancellations made 21 days or more before the event will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made 14–20 days before the event will receive a 50% refund.
  • Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 13 days of the event, as food planning and other costs will already be committed.

This is a tent-only campout—no RVs or campers. If you don’t have a tent, let us know, and we’ll help match you with a member who has space to share.

The Secret Wildling exchange is an optional, low-pressure way to add a little extra connection to Spring Camp. Participants are paired in advance and invited to share small notes of encouragement, kind words, or thoughtful gestures for their Wildling throughout the weekend.

This is not a gift exchange. There’s no expectation to spend money or bring anything elaborate. Simple notes, messages, or small meaningful moments are perfect. Notes may be added to a communal designated area or left quietly along the way, creating little sparks of connection throughout camp. We’ll wrap things up with a gentle exchange or reveal near the end of the weekend.

We’ll be offering a gluten-free option at every meal, but if you have specific dietary preferences, we encourage you to bring your own snacks or meals. You’re welcome to bring non-perishable food items and store them in your tent.

Not unless you want to bring extra snacks or drinks. All meals are provided, and we’ll have water available throughout the weekend. There will be no communal food storage or refrigeration available.

Probably not! And even if you are, you won’t feel like it. WildKind Collective welcomes women+ of all ages, and our events naturally attract a diverse mix. We’ve had members in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond. Our vibe is all about connection, laughter, and shared experience, not age.

At our first annual fall camp, the attendees made it abundantly clear that they are in full support of the founder's vision to make camp accessible to all. Please email us if financial hardship would prevent you from attending. Private email: supportsquad@wildkindcollective.com

No, this is a primitive campout with no electricity or generators. Many attendees rely on power banks, and that works just fine for the weekend. Bring battery-powered necessities like flashlights or lanterns.

Vault toilets are available. Potable drinking water will be provided, but you may wish to bring additional water for your personal campsite needs.

A packing list will be provided closer to the event, but plan for a tent (if you have one), sleeping bag, flashlight, camp chair, a refillable bottle, any drinks you would like aside from water, and weather-appropriate clothing.

We’ll help coordinate shared tent setups for anyone without a tent. Solo campers should plan to bring a two-person tent or smaller, as space is limited.

If you have extra tent(s) and are willing to share over the weekend, please email steph@wildkindcollective.com.

We’re going rain or shine! Bring rain gear just in case. If severe weather is expected, we’ll communicate any necessary adjustments.

George Washington National Forest prohibits alcoholic beverages. We ask all attendees to be mindful of park regulations and to enjoy the weekend in a way that’s respectful of the land and each other.

No, pets are not allowed at this event.

Please see our refund policy above for details.

WildKind Collective reserves the right to adjust accommodations as needed and to ask any participant to leave the event if necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees. Participants are expected to follow all camp rules and behave responsibly throughout the weekend. Failure to do so may result in removal from the event without a refund.
